Montana | The Freedom State March 2016

Our latest beach shoot featuring the fresh faced Montana Lower.

It was a warm autumn morning that we found ourselves at this secret beach, hidden along the Northern New South Wales coastline. White sand and salty ocean air set the mood for the tones and energy of the shoot. Fresh faced muse Montana Lower took to the ocean with confidence, draped in pieces from the store which include new colours from our own Del Playa collection.

The Stevie Dress in deep sea blue hangs gracefully from the shoulders of Montana as she approaches the waters edge – her beachy blonde hair flows, caught by the wind. Effortlessly styled with a Turkish towel as a head wrap, the simplicity of the Stevie strikes us yet it again with its unassuming beauty.

Montana takes to the rocks in the Extratropical Dress by Free People.  It’s halter neck style flattering the hints of Montana’s clavicle. Endless material falls to her feet, flowing gracefully in the breeze – the detail sliding along the sand as she walks. All about the little details, the back falls low with flattering straps cutting across the back.

The signature Del Playa Island Gypsy Top makes a comeback in new colours, sitting pretty across Montana’s chest and arms. This wardrobe staple reminds us what it’s like to have that one piece that looks amazing with everything – it will always be it. Montana’s loose waves styled under a straw Fallen Broken Street Bambi Hat create the essential beach look.

Full length black dresses create the perfect beach to bar look … set amongst the pandanus trees and rocks of this secluded Oceanside escape, Montana, bathed in natural light shows us exactly the confidence these dresses are designed to be styled with. These pieces are essential for all wavey days.

Montana immerses herself in the ocean, taking on the waves and emerging sexy as hell in the Stevie dress in dusk pink. Dripping wet and styled with the Grace Bijoux Delta bralette, this is a look to turn heads.
