We teamed up with Festival Muse Em Gurr again this year, for our Festival Style Ups 2017!
This year we have channelled the many Festival Muse's we see at our Aussie Festivals. And with Splendour In The Grass fast approaching, we have loads of inspo for your go-to outfits. You may see a little difference this year. We have dressed down our looks, letting the statement pieces speak for themselves.
Spell Babes! We have your fave styles from the latest collection dressed up, dressed down and with a twist. The Etienne Maxi Dress in Sienna needs not much more than some killer boots for a festival. We will be sure to see some of these floating around this Splendour. We have it teamed with the leather Kayla Cap by Brixton.
No it's not a Dress, it's a Jumpsuit! The Free People Beach Bum Jumpsuit speaks for itself in all it's natural wonder. With a hint of glimmer thanks to the gold lurex shimmering down the fabric, it's perfectly balanced out with raw edge details and wooden beads. We teamed this look up with the Velvet Hat by Fallen broken Street.
Keep your eyes out for those boots too! They are exclusive to us and in the Showroom now!
One of our fave things to do is make a summery dress transeasonal. This is the Lotus Strappy Dress simply teamed with a Mate tank over the top. A little bit of sugar and spice for this festival outfit. You could team a long sleeve tee over this as the sun sets.
Our favourite festival t-shirt is always a Sugarhigh + Lovestoned beauty. Once again we have popped it over a strappy dress. This style is the Garden Party Maxi Dress by Free People, and a leather jacket. Effortlessly cool for the Wild One Festival Muse.
Keeping with the floral themes we have a Spell Combo that is prettier than a Parisian picture. We teamed the Etienne Sleeveless Maxi Dress underneath the Damsel Lace Top. Nobody can honestly go past The Fleur Hat by Lack of Colour in pink. A match made in heaven. We love how Em has added a little edge to her look with her own studded boots.
Nine lives Bazaar have festivals covered with their retro wonderland of prints and styles they offer. These have arrived in the Showroom. Team their styles with a hat; just as an ode to the designers Rose and Ness who are hat lovers to boot.
Bombshells we have the outfit for you! A little bit naughty but oh so nice in shades of soft pink in tapestry fabric! We love how the Noir Etienne Body suit breaks up the soft colour palette, teamed perfectly with the Brixton Brood Cap!
She is a little bit glam and a little bit glitter. She loves her textural fabrics and luxe prints. She is the ultimate festival muse that just belongs with the band. A little bit of Somedays Lovin' here, teaming their Velvet Dance at Dark Bodysuit with their Late Night love coat. The Xanthe Sequin Skirt by Spell completes this look.
We love a little mix and match of looks. We have teamed our very last Levi's Sherpa Jacket over this cute as a button Spell combo to get a little more down and dirty, grunging up for this festival season!
Everyone has that friend who puts on the simplest of outfits, yet everything becomes a statement within the simplicity of the entire look. Em has managed to achieve this with a simple silk cami by Silk Laundry, Damsel Shorts by Spell and the AMAZING Faithful shearling Jacket by Lilya. Not forgetting the Bowie Cap by Fallen Broken Street.
Once again - Sugarhigh + Lovestoned have us covered this year for printed tees with a cool 70's theme. You don't need much more with these guys. They speak for themselves. Pun intended.
Feminine and Flirty, the mini dress is the go-to piece when nothing else just seems to work. When you are running out of time and your entire wardrobe is now sprawled across your bed. Ye ol' faithful that you can always rely on. Kivari have you covered this year with the Jala Dress.
We LOVE this look! Thankfully finished off perfectly by one of our besties who arrived laden with vintage tees for us to borrow for our shoot to finish of this look perfectly for the Tom Boy. We are loving whites and naturals at the moment and Free People have delivered with the Summer Escape Romper. Limited sizes available now!
It isn't Splendour without western vibes. We have dressed this look down with Amuse Society's Belmont Woven Shirt and Free People's Raw and Edged Stand Off Shorts. The Carlo Hat by Lack of Color completes this look. All these are available in store and online.
This is for She who loves to be comfy yet super cool! Blue denim vibes thanks to Arnhem's Mustang Denim Jacket. Check out that feature embroidery on the back! Spell's 'Stay Wild Moon Child Tank' complements the blue's in the Free People High Waisted Shorts. Easy, comfy, super cool.
Keeping with the vibes of denim we have also the new season's Amuse Coastline Flares which we LOVE for showing off statement kicks. Teaming these with Chaser Brand's Henley Tee in Pacific and the Kayla Cap in Blue.
Simple and Sexy is what we are vibing with the Arnhem Silk Venus Blouse. Looking super hot on Em teamed with the Mile High Super Skinny Jeans by Levi's. We are loving the girls in the guys style caps at the moment. Moving away from the ever so popular fisherman style caps; dare to be individual girls!! Em wears our exclusive Chicko Boots in Black. These are on our way to us shortly in Suede too! Yass!
Amuse have us 90's vibing with the Nolita Bodysuit. Team this with Mum jeans and statement sunnies. Nothing more said!
